Back to Normal?

This was a crazy week. Even though hurricane Rita ended up missing Houston almost completely, it still managed to completely derail the plans for the last few days. The university was closed on Thursday and Friday, classes are still cancelled today. The university still isn’t fully operational today. I made a pointless trip to campus. On Wednesday, I decided to leave the Affiliates’ Meeting before the poster presentation. I regret not being able to present my poster, but I know it was the right thing to do: Had I waited only a few more hours, I wouldn’t have been able to get all the items I needed.

Hopefully, things will be back to normal tomorrow.
